Le vélo électrique Onsra se démarque vraiment par sa grande qualité de fabrication et ses finitions soignées. Das Bike ist genial!
Der Aufbau ist kinderleicht und alle Teile sind sinnvoll und ästhetisch platziert.
Nach dem Aufbau und der ersten Fahrt war ich schon komplett verliebt und begeistert.

Aus einer kurzen Probefahrt um den Block, wurden direkt 14 Km, weil es so Spaß gemacht hat.
Kurze Fahrten von A nach B werden mit dem Vandal zu einer reinen Spaßsession!

OK, so here is my first-day review. I got the bike for 1600 Euros on sale in March 2025 - don't forget to use the DKWAN coupon code if you're planning a purchase yourself!

1. The bike came safely packaged and on time. The manual was missing. I needed 30 mins on a bike stand using Fabi's video https://esk8.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/17545640495900-Unboxing-Setting-Up-the-VANDAL-Electric-Dirt-Bike to complete everything.
2. All parts seemed quality-finished and thoughtfully designed, even though most are rather cheap and Chinese-made. Slight downer: My bike had some stickers where Fabi promised CNC cutting in a video.
3. The battery was already installed, and a cable mantel was slightly damaged – I wish I had done the installation myself and might have prevented this. The brakes, screws, tire pressure and such were all likely double-checked before factory delivery – well done, Onsra!
3. The display by Chinese manufacturer Bigstone https://www.bigstone-nj.com has 5 assist levels, seems reliable and works well. You can change the max speed up to 32 km/h right in the display without an app.
4. Fully charging works within about 2 hours. Don't overlook the very small power button on the underside of the battery or your bike won't turn on! : )
5. My one main concern will be the Chinese-made suspension fork from Exsho which doesn't inspire great confidence about harder riding and jumps: https://www.exshoshock.com/en. The thru-axle seems rather flimsy compared to my Kona Unit single speed MTB. A yellow sticker on the fork proclaims that it isn't for Dirt Jumping or any other hard use, but only for regular MTB use. We'll see how it holds up – after all, aggressive Dirt Jumping is what the Vandel is marketed for!
6. The geometry should work for people under 185 cm. 170-180 is probably best. The reach is rather close and the saddle is out max for me (I'm 183 cm with long legs).
7. When riding, the motor and acceleration feels smooth and effortless. The fork works alright on dirt trails. The pressure sensors seem to work well, giving the bike a natural feel. Leave on the (EU illegal) thumb-gas for extra cruising fun. ;-)
All in all, the bike seems to be made as a fun third or fourth bike for leisurely crusing around your neighborhood (much like the Evolve Concept BMX, but at half the price), including the occasional smaller jumps and bunny hops across small obstacles, and for the pump track or bike park. Anything but the cheap Exsho suspension fork feels safe, quirky and quite reliable.

Some people have commented on why there are no actual jump videos of this bike, but rather lifestyle, city cruising and pump track videos. I am sure the suspension fork is the reason.

Been on BMX for abt 2 years and This is my first mtb and e bike, gonna learn lots on this thing and I’m really excited. First ride very smooth out the box, fun to assemble, and getting to know the bike. Really good for the quality and price.
